30th Anniversary
FOUNDATION
Autec Safety Remote Control begins its history by becoming the first Italian manufacturer of wireless controls for lifting applications. Autec's promotion of safety in radio communication to the Italian Ministries of Telecom & Labour led to the implementation of a national law.
1986CERTIFIED
Autec receives its first functional safety certification from TÜV/IQSE (DIN Standard) for the KTR190. Certification from independent 3rd party organizations is a critical part of the product development process. Development, testing and compliance with standards help to provide assurance in addition to a reliable product.
1992EXPANSION
Rapid growth fosters move to a 6400 square meter facility in Caldogno. In addition to moving HQ, the first subsidiary was established outside of Italy - Autec Spain, in Madrid. Autec starts the development of products for the remote control of mobile hydraulic applications.
1998MILESTONE
As a result of constant improvement practices, proprietary automatic testing equipment helps to provide the means for ramped-up production. The same year, the number of Autec wireless control systems in the marketplaces reaches 100,000.
2001MODULAR
Autec proudly rolls out the ultra-durable Modular Series with Data Feedback. Functional Safety Certification received from TÜV in accordance with ISO EN 954-1. This line of products would serve as the go-to solution for traditional construction cranes and lifting applications.
2003WINNING
The Modular Series sets the bar for remote controls even higher with its MJ transmitting unit. This stylish, compact and highly-functional bellypack is given both the Intel Design Award in and prestigious IF industrial Design Award in 2006.
2005DYNAMIC
New markets are opened thanks to Autec's own Adaptive FHSS Radio with Bi-Directional Link. This constant uninterrupted communication between transmitter and receiver brought a new level of signal integrity and security to radio communication. The Dynamic Series receives safety certification from TÜV.
2008GLOBAL
Autec expands its footprint with the founding of subsidiaries in Asia and South America. Autec China and Autec South Korea are established in 2011, and in 2012 Autec heads west with the opening of Autec Brazil.
2011RISING
The introduction of the Air Series belly-pack and pushbutton models sets a new standard for wireless control in Industrial Lifting applications.
Autec, through its innovative product line is successful in breaking into the Japanese market.
DESIGN
The LK Neo handheld transmitting units bring higher configurability and a new color display to the Air Series. Its ability to work with a single radio module in different world area and its capacity to work in multi-unit systems give the LK Neo a leg up on the competition.
2015BRIGHT
Autec proudly announces the launch of the Dynamic Series FJR & FJM 4.3 inch color display models. CODESYS V3.5 programmable (compiant to IEC 61131-3), the robust and elegant belly-pack transmitters are perfectly-suited to usher in Autec's next 30 years of success.
