A Strategic Project Work with Chilesotti Technical Technological Institute

In an increasingly competitive and rapidly evolving world, we have chosen to look to the future with a clear and determined vision: to invest in the younger generations. For this reason, we embraced the idea of ​​realizing - in collaboration with the Giacomo Chilesotti Technical Technological Institute of Thiene, which offers training focused on electronics, computer science, and logistics - a Project Work related to Visual Project Management, perfectly connected to the Project Management course already developed by Chilesotti. The project, in which 22 students participated, was developed through four three-hour lessons at the school and completed with a full day spent at our headquarters in Caldogno.

A Concrete Commitment

"Collaborating with schools on educational projects," confirms Silvia Pajarin, HR Specialist at AUTEC, "represents for us a concrete and strategic commitment. At the same time, the Project Work allowed 22 students to get to know the company closer than what happens with traditional school-work alternation projects." The lessons, thanks to Arianna Gobbo, Lean manager at AUTEC and project instructor, allowed us to explain the Lean approach and, after an initial activity carried out on paper, we moved on to the heart of the initiative: the development of a real software for project management. "The programs developed by the students divided into four groups," explains Giuseppe Battistella, R&D Mechanical Dpt. Project Manager at AUTEC, "are real planning tools that can be used for any industrial project. During the presentation, each group demonstrated the effective functioning of the programs, and the software will constitute a basis that can, through implementations and improvements, be used by AUTEC itself."

A Winning Project from All Perspectives

"The enthusiasm shown by the students was impressive," comments Professor Chilese, teacher at Chilesotti. “Honestly, I have never seen them so involved."

A common enthusiasm shared by all actors in the Project Work allowed us to scout new talents in- order-to find new professionals to include on our staff. Activities like this are of fundamental importance to make known what it is that we do and the technology behind each individual remote control.
